You have a couple of options for handles when you are
ordering your Annabelle Custom Handbag.
We use very technical terms--stiff handles and floppy
straps.
Stiff handles are just that--stiff enough that they
stand on their own. They are available on the
Cocktail,Petite, Classic and Mom on the Go handbags and
are 1/2" wide & are just long enough to go over your
shoulder and clutch under your arm (about 18"). Mom On
the Go shoulder handles are a little longer (about
22""). Cocktail bags, however are made a bit shorter and
are just long enough to go over the arm (about 13").
Please note: If you carry your bag in your hand, as opposed to over your forearm or shoulder, stiff handles are probably not the right choice for you. The oils in your hand will cause the fabric to wear much quicker and the material inside the handle (which is plastic) will tear through. Please see our policy on handle replacement in the FAQ.
Floppy straps are just that--floppy, and do not stand on
their own. On the Petite, Classic and Mom on the Go
handbags they are about 3/4" wide & run a little bit
longer than the stiff straps. The floppy straps on the
Cocktail bag are shorter, just long enough to go over
the arm. The shorter floppy straps are available on all
handbag sizes.
The A-line design has just one 1" floppy strap
that is 22" in length. It goes just over your
shoulder--and stays there. This one is the most
comfortable! Please note: A-line handbags are not
available with stiff straps. Petite Bags can also be ordered with a single strap that are the same width as the A-line strap.
The City Bag has just one 1 1/4" strap that is
25" long. Just throw it over your shoulder and go! We
love this one! Please note: City Bags are not available
with stiff straps. Classic and Mom on the Go can also be ordered with a single floppy strap that is the same witdth as the City Bag strap.
The Annabelle Tote is only available with 2 floppy straps.
They are 1" wide and are a generous 27" long.
Pockets can be added to any Annabelle Handbag. The Mom
on the Go and the Annabelle Tote come with three pockets
each, but you can add three more if you like. The
Classic, Petite, Cocktail, A-line and City Bag do not
come with pockets, but you can add two when ordering
your Annabelle.
Add a Plastic Pocket Liner to your Annabelle Tote or Mom
on the Go handbag! Perfect for a baby bag or knitting
bag (14" needles fit easily in the bottom--as pictured).
The plastic comes up to about 3" below the top of the
bag and completely covers the bottom, essentially lining
the bottom of the bag in plastic. The liner is then sewn
off in sections to create the pockets.
The Annabelle Tote has 6 pockets--one side has 3-6" X 6"
pockets and the other has a more generous pocket in the
center (perfect
for diapers) and 2 smaller pockets, one on each side,
great for keys and cell phones (all are also 6" deep).
The Mom on the go has 5 pockets--one side has 3- 4 1/2"
X 6" pockets and the other has 2 larger pockets, about
7" X 6" each.
The top of the plastic is trimmed with a coordinating
grosgrain ribbon, for a beautiful, finished look. Both
the Mom on the Go and the Annabelle Tote do come with 3
fabric pockets. You can upgrade to the Plastic Pocket
Liner for an additional $10 when you place your order. |
